Guy Fieri Reaches New Deal With Food Network For 3 More Years

One of the biggest names in the world of cooking, Guy Fieri, has signed a new deal with Food Network that will see the host and Mayor of Flavortown stay with the channel through 2024.

As relayed by The Hollywood Reporter, Fieri’s deal with Food Network covers three more years. Fieri has been with Food Network since 2006 after he won the network’s The Next Food Network Star reality show. He’s since become one of the network’s most famous personalities, helping drive the success of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, which is on its 33rd season. More recently, Fieri’s new show Tournament of Champions debuted in 2020.

“Guy Fieri infuses his unmatched energy and passion into every show he makes,” Food Network president Courtney White said. “He is truly one-of-a-kind, adored globally for his own love of food and his deep appreciation for the people behind the restaurant scenes. I am beyond thrilled to be able to continue this extraordinary, creative partnership.”

Fieri himself said in a statement that he is “stoked to continue the partnership” with Food Network and its parent company, Discovery.

“The world of food is the ultimate unifier so having a global platform to share real-life stories of some of the most deserving chefs, restauranteurs, home cooks, entrepreneurs, and anyone who just loves a good meal is an incredible opportunity. I can’t wait for everyone to see what we’re cookin’ up next,” he said.

Fieri has been at the core of Discovery’s new streaming service, Discovery+, which has “hundreds and hundreds” of hours of programming centered around him. As part of the new deal, the financial terms of which were not disclosed, Fieri will continue to develop and produce his shows through his Knuckle Sandwich studio.
